I blow dry and straighten my hair everyday. After I towel dry it I apply a leave in conditioner called Fast Food by A/G. You should go to a beauty supply and get a leave in conditioner. Make sure you just put it only on your tips because if you put it on your roots to, you are going to have very flat hair. You should feel a difference in your hair in a couple of days.

clip those ends 1st off.and then get a good deep conditioner.i'm black so on my hair i use hot oil treatments by proclaim or cholesterol.on white hair girls in my cosmetology class use protien packets.they work pretty good.

Cut it off. Hair is dead once it leaves the follicle. The longer it is the more likely it is damage has occurred just because it is so old. You can try conditioners to make it softer but it is only a temporary fix. The hair is damaged %26amp; dead already. Sorry. I cut my hair in June for "Locks for Love" %26amp; my hair was dried out. What I have now is shiny %26amp; soft %26amp; healthy because I cut off the dry stuff.

But most often I mix them with my conditioners and let it stay on my hair for some time. The result=soft, silky hair!
