I use Loreal Curl Vive Shampoo, Conditioner and hairspray. I do find that my frizz is cut way down, and it does not leave my hair feeling sticky or crisp. AND best of all, I can get it at my local grocery store.

An old at home recipe is mayo and eggs, let sit then wash VERY WELL. There are other inexpensive ways to get great soft moisture rich hair

I have to agree with the woman who suggested John Frieda. I asked a question here awhile ago about how to take care of curly hair. Someone suggested John Frieda and I went out and tried it. I'm using stuff for curly hair, to make my hair curlier without being frizzy, so it may be different for you. But my experience is that the John Frieda stuff actually DOES what it says it's supposed to do.
Seriously, the stuff cost about $3 at Walmart and it's like a "hair miracle." I have some leave in conditioner too, that I bet would work great on "puffy" and dry hair. If you've got an extra $3 laying around, I'd give it a shot!

Sunsilk really works. The whole line of products for every kind of hair you have they all work really well. My hairs poof too and for a wile i used the anti poof one ( blue) and it really made a difference, but now i use the one for dry hair so I'm kind switching back and forth so my hair wont become dependent on one kind of shampoo ( a trick i learner from my hairdresser ) and it seems to really be helping my hair. I definitely recommend the sunsilk line.
