Dry and brittle hair Help?

I have been using head and shoulders for a few weeks and now my hair feels yuk ,dry and brittle hair. I also tried ice shine and tresemme shampoo.

My hair is usually oily but now its just dry and the ends feel damaged.

Which shampoo would you recommend.

I would like nice soft hair without it feeling as dry and a desert.

use 2 table spoons of lemon juice in every shower and wash out you conditioner with cold water and only shampoo the top part of your hair so that it doesnt dry out the ends and it will drip down to clean the ends so there is less dryness

You should use conditioner on the ends if they feel dry. If your scalp produces too much oil for conditioner do not put it on the scalp, just the ends. You could also use a hot oil treatment on the ends of your hair.

If the ends are damaged, you need to cut them off. There is no way to repair split ends and they only get worse.

You don't need a new shampoo, you need CONDITIONER. And don't try that crappy 2 in 1 stuff, that's for men with short hair who don't care one way or the other. Really slather it on, too, don't be stingy. Just make sure you rinse it all out when you're done.

Pantine Pro-V is my conditioner of choice. I use the 10x stronger hair stuff, but you should find the right formula for you.

Also, try washing your hair every OTHER day instead of every day. Washing your hair robs it of its natural oils, and you could be washing it too much. You should of course wash the rest of your body every day.

I've heard that mayonaise really helps with dry, nappy hair. I know they make a hair "dressing" made out of mayonaise to treat dry brittle hair.
