Damaged hair really needs to be taken care of with good products. When my hair was extremely damaged, I tried Joico K-Pak products...they have a whole line of products that are devoted to helping strengthen and repair damaged hair. Within a week of using just the shampoo and conditioner daily, I could tell my hair was starting to look and feel much better. I was never a big believer in buying salon brand products until trying them for myself, and the difference really is amazing. It's not as cheap as your ordinary Wal-Mart stuff, but it's definitely worth the money to buy good products...hair stuff is one thing I've found where you really do get what you pay for.

JAG if you go to your local drug store there use and hopefully still is a product put out by St Ive's called Hair Repair treatment, it comes in single use packets or pump action bottles you can keep in the shower. Its soooooo worth it, I only used it once every 2 weeks. But now I hardly have time to treat myself to the little things like that as Im so busy, maybe once it settles down some..lol

Take biotin, it is a special vitamin that is only for hair, it gives it protein.

Also, using mane %26amp; tails horse shampoo which you can buy at walmart or any local drug store.

And hot oil treatments work GREAT too;-)
