it depends on your hair type... African Americans should use Pink Moisturizer Cream or Africa's Best products or possibly Dr. Miracle ANYTHING. Latinas should use sprays and spritzes from most any product line. And Caucasians should use this Kerastase is hands-down the best shampoo on the market, however, you will pay a price for perfection. Bain de Force is a vitamin-infused shampoo created for parched, dry hair. According to InStyle Magazine, which named it a 'Best Buy' two years running, Bain de Force contains a 'bond mender' that strengthens weakened hair.

vitamin e, if you cant find the liquid buy the capsule and break them open to use, a little on your hair over a period of time will help a lot, it did with mine, there is always the old standby, a mayo and egg yolk mix, apply it to dry hair, wrap in a plastic bag and wear for about a half an hours, shampoo and, viola, every once in while its a great treatment.....one time when i did it my first child was very young and she told me i smelled like a sandwich......lol

A good leave in conditioner. I really like Infusium 21, but they quit selling it in my area, so I'm not sure if it still is on the market. If not, almost any conditioner that you leave in after shampooing your hair will make the frizz go away and give you back the control.

I use this and I love it! The brand is Herbal Essences. It's "Hello Hydration" a blue bottle. It's only like $2.99 and it made my hair hydrated and soft in the first use! No lie! Go to the websites below. You can get the details. I love it! Plus it has a coconut smell! I %26lt;3 it! Try it. You can go to their site and find out where it is sold near you. Hope I helped. And hope you use Herbal essences to make your hair healthier!

I do, too! As a matter of fact, I am dying my hair right now!
Anyway, I have tried everything from putting mayonnaise, olive oil, deep oil treatments, leave in conditioners, every shampoo, conditioner combo imaginable from Suave to Aquage, and nothing seems to really "heal" my damaged hair. I know this is not the answer you are looking for. I find it strange that by damaging it further, using styling tools such as the blow-dryer and/or flat iron is when hair looks its best.. or wearing it curly with product to keep it that way (mouse, gel, etc).
The only recommendation I have is to find a clarifying shampoo that smells good, dry/damaged conditioner and leave-in products that protect from styling damage. Then you will want to "polish" your style off with a shine serum. Since you are putting so much in your hair to make it look healthy, that is why I recommended the clarifying shampoo but you can switch back and forth with a conditioning/gentle shampoo if you like.
Oh and another thing I ALWAYS do is RINSE with the coolest water you can handle - this seals the cuticle.
Here are some of my personal favorites -
Shampoo:
Matrix Biolage/Sleek Look
Conditioner:
MATRIX Biolage EARTH TONES COLOR Brown
(Now discontinued - total BUMMER!) But they still have it for other colors though, I think.
Styling Aids:
BioSilk Serum
Aquage
I like Pantene, too. I had gotten away from it but am loving it again.. GOOD LUCK

you should probably stay away
from detergents that most generic
shampoos have Sodium Laureth Sulfate
because it will strip the natural oils
in the hair or if you still color your hair
it will strip the color.
some shampoos that have no sulfates
are jonathan product
and Wen by chaz dean
also try a deep conditioner mask
like pantene, which is like 5 dollars
are target or Aussie deeeeep conditioner
for like 2 dollars or so.
and you should also steer clear of
flat irons or curling irons. but if you
use hair dryers try to get a nozzle
and blow down so that you can close
the cuticles in the hair (closed cuticles
will give the look of shiny hair)

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.
When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
