Dry + Damaged Hair?!?!?

When I was about 10 I got a hair-straightener and I used it regularly back then. When I was 11 my hair grew to be very long, and the wave looked nice so I left it...but when I turned twelve my mum forced me to cut it so I started to straighten it again. I didn't realize how much damage I was doing to my hair. Now I'm nearly thirteen and I only straighten my fringe every now-and-again and my hair is just past my shoulders in length.

My basic question is, well I've been using all these different shampoos that make my hair FEEL nice but then when I had a photoshoot the make-up artist said that my hair was very dry. Does anybody know a good shampoo I could use to make my hair literally stronger and shinier, or more moist or whatever?

Or any quick treatments that could work?

Apply Miracle whip (covering hair completely) and cover with plastic bag. Allow to stand for 30 minutes and wash out with mild shampoo. Very Cheap hair treatment.

You should also probably consider getting your hair trimmed to eliminate broken and damaged ends.

This might be a long process depending on just how much hair you have. Buy vitamin E pills the ones with the liquid inside and pop each one open and rub it in your hair starting from the ends. Let it sit over night then wash out. Do this as much as possible and your hair will look so much better!

You can use Thermasilk which is heat activeated and advatnages the heat to your hair. You can do at home Hot oil trreatments that you can buy from a pharmacy or grocery store. And you can try to shower once every other day instead of every day

it's not rely the shampoo you need to go hi end on it's the conditioner that you need and i would try some suave or if you have the cash i would try Bumble and bumble conditioner

Cheap and quick treatment: Olive oil. Not those for cooking, but those specially formulated for beauty use. Also, stop frying your hair with a hair straightener. If you start taking care of your hair now, it should grow out just fine and once you snip off the damaged parts you will have nice hair again.

Buy a hair mask that has extracts of vitamin E, and make sure you spray heat protectant or buy a GHD instead (its worth than damaging your hair)

whenevr u use straightener ALWAYS apply oil to ur hair before taking a shower...it helps a lot...use olive oil or coconut oil ...and after shower apply half teaspoon(depending on ur hair length) of olive oil mixed with lemon juice to ur hair...just massage it all over....it keeps ur hair moist and shiny....mix olive oil and lemon juice n keep it in any bottle...use the quantity within two weeks...then make a new mixture...
