why does my hair not dry fast? It takes a long time to dry is it because my hair is damaged or dry? even though i blow dry it, it still takes a while. why?

yeah happens to me too...its coz u have thick hair...but avoid the hair blower as much as u can coz that is not so gud for the hair...let it dry naturally...u could probably make sure that u dry it *thoroughly* with a towel first and then maybe LIGHTLY blow dry it...leave the rest up to nature....no sweating

invest in a more powerful blowdryer , the watage of a blowdryer makes a big difference , you probably have alot of hair also so you need to get a really good blowdryer , it wont damage you hair , i am a hairsylist and we dont have time to take blowdrying hair that takes to long

It may be the conditioner you are using. If it's too thick make sure you are washing it out well. All the hygroscopic materials in conditioners can make hair retain water and dry slower. Also if your hair has a lot of product build up, that'd slow down the drying process.

I have this problem, too. My hair is SO thick, I can take a shower in the mornings and by the next morning, it's STILL not dry. All you need to do is get an uber-strong blow dryer and some Tresseme stuff that works with heat. The Tresseme makes the hair absorb more heat, therefore making hair dry faster. Good luck, Hun!
